Tumblong Vineyard, Gundagai, NSW Elevated over the gentle slope overlooking the Murrumbidgee River, ironstone-rich volcanic soils, warm days and cool nights during the ripening period.
Hand harvested fruit, the fruit was chilled to 4C immediately after harvesting for 24 hours before being whole bunch pressed, fermented at 17C in stainless steel.
Flavours of white peach and subtle hints of lemon, grippy textual phenolics, finishes with a soft flintiness derived from the ironstone-rich volcanic soils of the Gundagai region.
